Integrations
Forms, CRM, marketing automation, analytics and booking tools connected through one documented layer. Official add-ons where the platform provides them, webhooks and REST where it does not, and field mapping verified before anything goes live.
What we configure
Most broken integrations are not broken code. They are two tools connected twice, a field mapped to the wrong object, or a lead nobody checks.
Visual editor, validation and conditional logic, and a large catalogue of premium add-ons for CRMs, payments and webhooks. It extends in code through hooks like gform_after_submission when an add-on falls short.
The same Gravity Forms definition can be placed as a Gutenberg block, dropped in with a shortcode or embedded elsewhere, and it submits over AJAX so the page does not reload. A form used in three places stays one form to maintain.
HubSpot and Salesforce have official Gravity Forms add-ons. Marketo runs through webhooks, Zapier or its own embedded forms. Zoho CRM needs a webhook plus extra authentication. We use the method each platform supports.
Salesforce punishes careless mapping: a field lands on the wrong object and the record looks fine until someone runs a report. Before go-live we submit real data and confirm what arrived.
Hidden fields and tags record where each lead came from, set at submission rather than reconstructed later from analytics. Cookie values are read into the form where the platform supports it.
On large projects each submission is kept as a Gravity Forms entry, so the lead exists in WordPress independently of the API call that was meant to deliver it.
The most common failure we inherit is double submission: a Gravity Forms feed, an embedded vendor form and a plugin all firing on one page. One documented path per form instead.
Proof
Commvault, a global data protection and cyber resilience company, had regional teams depending on IT for basic updates while dozens of analytics, CRM and automation tools had to work inside a secure environment. 40Q rebuilt the platform on WordPress VIP and integrated Marketo, Salesforce and enterprise analytics. These are platform outcomes from that build.

Reduction in the marketing team’s dependency on developers

Beyond the CRM
Lead capture is the part every project plans for. These three arrive later, and each one follows different rules.
Google Analytics, Segment and advertising pixels, deployed through Google Tag Manager when your team wants to own its own tags, or hardcoded when governance matters more than flexibility.
Zapier, Make and comparable platforms, connected by webhook, for leads that have to be validated, enriched or split between destinations before reaching a CRM. A deliberate intermediary is useful; an undocumented one is how integrations rot.
Calendly, SavvyCal and Chili Piper for booking. Intercom, Drift, Crisp and Zendesk for chat. Typeform, ConvertKit or Jotform when your team already owns them. Embed, iframe, script or API, each one recorded.
Specifics, including the parts that are inconvenient.
